The article is devoted to the understanding of the image of star in Lermontov’s poetry. This image passes through all his creative work. Lermontov’s stars absorbing the poetics of symbols, create the impression of mysteriousness. Repeatedly referring to the star and its Сreator for different cases in poetry and prose, Lermontov not only believed in their real existence, but dared to look up in cosmos and listen to a “star with a star talking” also with the help of imagination.
